Moneyline:
This wager allows clients to place a bet on who they think will win the game in regulation. The minus (Toronto Raptors) indicates the favorite while the plus (Boston Celtics) indicates the team who is the underdog. In this instance, Toronto is the favorite at -130 while Boston is the underdog at +100.
Point Totals (Over/Under):
You are placing a wager on two teams to score more or less than 228.5 points. If you think the two teams will score more than 228.5, you select the over. If you do not think 228.5 points will be scored, you will select the under.
Point Spread:
This wager type is the calculated point difference by PointsBet between the Boston Celtics and Toronto Raptors.
Example: If Toronto is playing Boston, Toronto will be a slight favorite. Toronto is considered a 1.5 point favorite in this game. Toronto must win this game by 2 or more to Cover the Spread.
Parlays:
- Allow you to build bets with multiple legs to increase your potential winnings.
- In order for a parlay or multi bet to win, you must select all winning legs.
- When putting several bets into a parlay, the odds of winning are lower but the potential rewards are much greater if all winners are selected
- Same game parlays are available and can include markets/player props connected to one game. Example: Raptors Moneyline, Siakam over 20.5 points and Tatum over 22.5 points.
Player Props:
Example: Pascal Siakam to score 20.5 Points or more.
For this bet to win, Pascal Siakam will need to score 21 points for this bet to be settled as a winner. If Pascal scores 18 points, this bet would be settled as a loss.
Futures:
Example: Picking the Toronto Raptors to win the NBA championship.
